2012 Kansas City Flatfile
I have 10 small drawings and 1 video available for viewing from June 1st to September 29th at the 2012 Kansas City Flatfile. Yoou can also view the work by going to "artwork" and clicking on "drawings". The video can be seen on "shows" click on the circle video construction that says "video".
An exhibition featuring two-dimensional artwork by Kansas City-based artists in media including drawing, photography, prints and mixed-media works on paper as well as time-based artwork in the Videofile."
This invitational biennial exhibition provides visitors with a unique and intimate art viewing experience, encouraging viewers to browse through individual artist portfolios stored within flatfile cabinets, or select video works to screen in the Videofile.
The flatfile exhibition has become a much-anticipated venue to discover new artists, see new bodies of artwork by familiar artists and purchase artworks to include in art collections.
"Overland" is a landscape show featuring 5 artists at the Epsten Gallery, Village Shalom 5500 W123rd St. Leawood, Kansas. I have 3 video constructions, 2 mixed media drawings and 3 small oil paintings. Opening is November 6th 2 - 4pm with an artists talk at 3pm. The show will be up until January 8th.
"Daedalus and Icarus" is a video construction 23" x 14" x 11" to be auctioned off this Saturday 10/22/2011 along with 153 other works of art by artists from around the world for Beyond Bounds "Brilliant" at the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art.

"Ice and Steam Drawing" a mixed media drawing on paper 14" x 50" has been purchased by The Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art.

I have been awarded a Studio Residency for a year through Charlotte Street "Urban Culture Project". The first Open Studio is the 3rd Friday of October 2010 and will be held every other month.

The Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art has acquired the painting "Winter Bend" for its permanent collection April 2010
Black and Blue
3 examples of my work will be in an invitational show titled "Black and Blue" Grit and Grace. The show will be up for the month of March 2010 at the University of South Dakota, Vermillion.
The 3 works are "Winter Bend" oil on wood, "Winter Collection" video ready made assist and "Magellan Gasoline Tank Fire #2" oil on wood.

For the month of January 2010 I have my work at several location. JP Wine Bar at 15th and Walnut in Kansas City. Also have a small piece at Room 39 at 39th in Kansas City. My work will also be on display at Avila University for their faculty show until February 19th 2010.

Beyond Bounds, Glow
"On Ramp" is my latest video and photographic construction (new media) piece.
It will be available at auction at the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art as a part of the Beyond Bounds, Glow on Saturday October 24th 2009. This is a benefit for the museum and I am honored to be asked to make a piece of art along with 110 recognized local, national and international artists.
