This was done in honor and remembrance of the artist and friend Mott-Ly. He passed away May of 2007. His work was mostly ready made assist assemblages in the spirit of Joseph Cornell. About a year before he died, my friend Sarah strapped his wheel chair to the top of her car and we went to see the movie "The Parrots of Telegraph Hill" and then she brought him over to our house and we had a fine time in front of the chiminea fire. The cigar box came from his collection of stuff he left behind. Thanx Mott-Ly
